2011 AMGEN Tour of California Lodging Packages starting at $399;
West Shore Café & Inn and Homewood Mountain Resort hosts Full-Day Spectator Party
Homewood, CA – Lake Tahoe’s West Shore Café & Inn will offer a special AMGEN Tour of California lodging package, available Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15 starting at $399. Located directly along the tour’s stage-one route, the West Shore Café & Inn offers unobstructed viewing of the peloton’s two laps along Lake Tahoe’s west shore. Located adjacent to Homewood Mountain Resort, the West Shore Café & Inn offers a festive setting for the 2011 Tour.
The special event lodging package also includes two V.I.P. viewing passes for peloton spectating as well as passes for the outdoor barbeque and beverage gardens hosted at West Shore Café Sunday, May 15.
Premier accommodations and spectating

Tour of California peloton E.T.A.
The peloton is expected to race by the West Shore Café & Inn and Homewood Mountain Resort between 11:20 a.m. and 11:43 a.m. during its first lap; and between 1:52 p.m. and 3:16 p.m. during its second lap.
Tour of California party and festivities
The West Shore Café & Inn and Homewood Mountain Resort will host one of the lake’s biggest Tour of California parties from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 15. A lavish barbeque will feature some of the West Shore Café’s signature party fare like made-to-order stripstream ahi or tri tip sliders, steak & veggie kabobs, and breakaway barbecued chicken. An outdoor beer garden will add to the excitement of an unobstructed view of stage one. Additionally, a full bar will be available inside the West Shore Café & Inn throughout the day offering inn guests and festive spectators a prime view of Lake Tahoe in between peloton laps. Plenty of parking, as well as unobstructed spectating, will be available at Homewood Mountain Resort.
