By Air

You can book nonstop and one-stop flights on most major commercial airlines. Closest to farthest, Reno-Tahoe, Sacramento and San Francisco International Airports are 45-60 minutes, 2-2.5 hours and 4-4.5 hours away.
At Reno/Tahoe International, alone, an average of 140 flights a day arrive from 15 non-stop and 27 one-stop departure points. You’ll also find convenient shuttle service there, serving both North and South Lake Tahoe.
Lake Tahoe Airport, on the South Shore, and Truckee Tahoe Airport, on the North Shore, welcome noncommercial charters and private planes.
